Ooty - Water bodies

The Ooty Lake
It was nice and serene, but part of it was off for boating due to shallow waters, and the part that was available, was divided into two regions - one for row boats and paddle boats, and the other for speed boats.

Ooty Lake - view of the entry point, from the lake

Lake Pykara - it was bigger, quieter, and much more beautiful

Pykara Falls
These are unlike any other falls that we had seen, as it was a wide stream spread over a big area. Unfortunately, the flow of water was quite less at the time of our visit.

River Kamraj (or at least that is what I remember the name was)
We had to go down a steep way through the pine forest, to reach its shore. It might have been quite beautiful, but for the fact that it was rather ill-maintained.
