"Straight from the heavens". Your Himalayan Adventure posts are absolutely stunning. What was the altitude you're running when taking these pics? Have a great weekend!
@Gil: Thanks a lot! Have they managed to convince you to take a long break and come to India ? ;-) The base of our 14 km trek [though God knows it felt like much more! :-)], Gauri Kund is at an altitude of 1981 meters. And the Kedarnath shrine is at 3584 meters [approx 12000 feet]. So, we were somewhere in between :-D
Loving all the pics....and reliving my memories of this trip. I never took my camera when I visited this place - so good to see all that lush greens and waterfalls. Looking forward to see kedar baba's shrine...despite all the chaos and crowd - its such strong vibrations there...!
and BTW - VOF - will not remain a dream....for long, next time - Right !!
@BTR: Glad you are enjoying the series. And you are right about the shrine. I found it was so serene and majestic with the background of snow clad peaks. I wonder how it would look in winters ... And for VoF: Well, no onek nows about the next time, so right now I am still waiting to see it rhough your eyes!!
@Kalyan: Thanks!
@Pijush: You are right. Himalayas are majestic, and amazingly beautiful. It is we who are spoiling the beauty by our careless actions.
